Swedens largest quiz site vetgirig is going through a redesign, a sneak peak can be seen on the english site: quiz4fun.
I like the new design (was hard to make it worse than before 
) but actually don’t think the hardcore players at vetgirig is going to care much. The new design will facilitate aquiring new players and help in the process of selling advertising to the site though I think.

Overall very nice and simple design I think that is gonna work well.
| Former Swedish prime minister Göran Persson wrote a book (or his memoirs I guess you can say) called “Min väg, mina val” (my road, my choices). The book was realesed some time after the right won the last election and he resigned as leader for the Swedish socialist partie.

Jeltsin was “stimulated” and very loud. He demanded I build a pipeline for gas through Sweden, I forcefully said no. He then rose from his chair, made his voice even louder and made clear what the deal was. I rose up as well and said, “In Sweden I’m in charge!”.
I could see the spark in his eye, he thought that was funny. He grabbed my collar and screamed at me that we should build pipelines. I put my hands on his shoulders and repeat that this is none of his business. We keep standing like that screaming at each other until we have to go meet the delegations in the meeting hall at Rotundan Rosenbad.
When we arrive Jeltsin is tired again. He seems to think he is home, and greets the Swedish delegation by welcoming them to Russia …
We then continue to the city hall where Jeltsin receives another treatment from his doctor. Fresh and lively he stands up and holds a speech where he says he is going to disarm the Russian nuclear arsenal with one third.
Chocked Russian associates with the Russian foreign minister Jevgenij Primakov had to quickly start denying this claim.
The thought crossed my mind that the man I had just met was sitting with his finger on the red button for a nuclear arsenal big enough to destroy the earth.
The book received lots of bad critique when it came out however I think it was quite a nice and often fun read. Göran Persson tells the story as he see it, nothing more nothing less and I think that is why it’s interesting.

Please observe upper left corner. I guess the guy at the swedish luftfartsverket didn’t like very much that UPS did not take very good care in getting our adress right .
I love UPS but the guys in Sweden seem to really let the operation down, reason we got this letter was because they invoiced us two times for the same shipment (one to the company and one on me as a private person), we refuse to pay X2 they don’t care or even bother to investigate the issue … even though its a private person involved in the matter … thx.

I love it 
Bytelove has been live continously since May 8 and to this date we have gotten 40 bookmarks on the root of Bytelove from del.icio.us. Looking at the Bytelove tag cloud its very cool to see how well the tags resemble what we do .
Of course there’s a lot of spammers also on del.icio.us but for real sites that have actual visitors tagging them the wisdom of crowds really works in a funnily good way … we hope google notices our tags and pay attention to them 
Got home to Berlin yesterday evening after attending my third reboot, in my opinion one of the better conferences in EU for us WEB/onlinemarketers/developers to meet our peers … for sure the best in Scandinavia.
The other two conferences usually gave me a few ideas of what could maybe be the next big thing. I’m not sure I saw that this year (although noone can blame me for going to every presentation).
One of the better presentations was done by Jyri where he continued his thoughts about eg social objects. Many of the bigger speakers was doing sort of the same, presenting similar thoughts like the last years and struggling to give it another angle.
Still this years conference was great especially due to the people there and the special athmosphere at Reboot.
Som other comments from the event will be put up after time.
