… when you realize there was a bug in a live e-commerce system that hit when app changes where committed friday afternoon. EUR1200 down the drain in marketingcosts over the weekend and at the very least an additional EUR1800 in lost income totaling a loss of over EUR3000. Yeah don’t we feel happy at the moment :D, and yes I love making misstakes public, lol.

Lesson, only committ big changes to your live and businesscritical apps at the start of the week, so that you and your collegues have the whole week to find eventual bugs before taking a weekend.
